Hello! My name is Natalie. I received my bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Indiana University – Bloomington and my master’s in Special Education, focusing on Applied Behavior Analysis & Autism from Ball State University. I met ABA in 2006 and have been in love ever since!
I was brought on by the founder as the first employee at CBS in 2009 and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2011. I have enjoyed wearing each hat within the company from Behavior Technician on up and believe hands on experience allows me to have a well-rounded view of the culture we are so set on developing! It has been over a decade since I started with CBS and we are still committed to creating a space where families are empowered to be the best advocates possible for their children, where children have a voice in their services, where team members are free to find their own rhythm within the work, and where family culture plays a key role in how we structure programs. I continue to be humbled by our team as they carry out our mission and am passionate about creating a safe, fun, and healthy place to enhance life’s journey. I live in Bloomington with my husband and am a mama to a chatty toddler and a Newfie. I am an eclectic podcast listener, avid bibliophile, lover of spicy foods, and amateur photographer. |

Hello! My name is Abbey and I am the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at CBS. I have been with the company for 7 years and have had the opportunity to hold almost every position within CBS along the way, from Behavior Technician to Clinical Director. Each experience has shaped me as a person and influenced the philosophies on leadership which I work to embody today.
Prior to working for CBS, I received my bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies from Indiana University-Bloomington. It was during an IU internship when my calling of working with the autism population was confirmed, and shortly thereafter I became a member of the CBS Bloomington team. I was captivated by the CBS culture, the rhythm of in-home, and the principles of ABA. It was clear, CBS was where I wanted to learn and grow. Inspired by the incredible progress of our clients and the experiences CBS afforded me, I pursued my masters in ABA through Ball State University and subsequently earned my BCBA. What I didn’t know when beginning this journey, is how I would spend close to the next decade working alongside some of the most passionate, dedicated, genuine people I’ve ever met, that we’d be collectively changing the lives of hundreds of children and their families; or how together we get to be the people working to shape the next decade of the CBS story. As COO you’ll find me developing and integrating programs and training for staff to promote the highest level of treatment for our clients, collaborating with our CEO on the daily workings of CBS along with plans for company growth and evolution, ensuring quality care, and leading employees through a hands-on, team approach. Outside of the daily hustle and bustle, I love spending time with friends and family and being at the lake as much as possible! |

Hello! I am Beth, our Family Relations and Office Manager. I am the first point of contact for those learning about CBS: families and staff alike!
My husband, son, and I reside in Noblesville, along with our three furry children. I have spent the majority of my adult life raising a child with autism. My son was diagnosed during a time when ABA was seemingly in its infancy. We worked tirelessly with countless therapists, all working to set our son up for the most successful, independent, and happy life possible. Of course, this adventure is a continuous one. After years of advocating for my own son, I felt compelled to learn about ABA and help others with similar situations. It was during this time I found CBS and began happily in my role as a Behavior Technician. It wasn’t long though before I found myself picking up a few projects in the office, which led to collecting several other administrative hats! I became captivated with the role of recruiting our new technicians, learning our family’s stories, and weighing in on how to match them together. My role as a technician, along with being a mother of a child with autism, has helped me fill these roles with multi-faceted perspective, empathy, ABA knowledge, and a deep-rooted passion to help our community. My family and I enjoy spending our time engaged in charity work and attending live sporting events whenever possible. Want to chat? Send me an email! |

Hi! I’m Heather, and I am one of the BCBAs at CBS. I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Music from the University of Indianapolis, and my master’s degree in Special Education with certifications in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism from Ball State University. I have also studied Educational Psychology at the master’s level and am about three credits shy of my degree in this area.
My work with individuals on the autism spectrum began in the summer of 2006, when I accepted a teaching position at a small Montessori school in Carmel, Indiana. I worked with a number of children in this position with a vast range of abilities, and frankly, their incredible personalities, unique and creative minds, and the opportunity to help each of them succeed through our program changed my life (and my career path!) forever. After the school closed its doors in the summer of 2008, I discovered the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in January of 2009. I started in a large clinic setting first, where I met and worked under the guidance of our founder, prior to the inception of CBS. Longing for a more well-rounded, flexible approach to ABA collaborating and sharing skills and principles of this approach directly with families, I started my work with CBS in April of 2010. Like each member of our clinical management team, I have worked in each role from Behavior Technician up through my current position, and each one has informed my approach to individualized, client-centered treatment, my collaboration with our staff, and my support for our families. A particular area I have become passionate about in the last few years is developing my understanding and application of how to support and defend the medical necessity of the service we provide for our families. From detail-oriented, individualized, and comprehensive treatment planning to informed and robust defense of the recommendations that are made within them, I have made it my mission to shape the ins and outs of our report process and learn everything I can about supporting our clients’ rights to effective treatment. I call the small town Ingalls home – it’s just a short drive from McCordsville, Fishers, and Noblesville, and I am the proud owner of a rambunctious Samoyed, 2 mischievous cats, and an abundance of gorgeous plants! I am an avid fan of live performance – especially music and theater, and have made frequent trips to New York City to indulge my love of all things Broadway. I’m a frequent NPR listener, dedicated to learning and “nerding” out on as many new things as I can, and hopeful to soon add regular traveler and theatergoer back to my list. |

Hi! I’m Hunter and I’m one of the BCBA’s at CBS. I received my bachelor’s degree in English and Comparative Literature from Indiana University, Bloomington and spent a couple years post-graduation working in digital marketing. Missing the summer days of being a camp counselor, I decided to make a change and linked up with CBS through our own Abbey Shaffer.
Within a couple months I knew this was going to be long term path. I went back to school, worked to obtain my master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Ball State University as fast as humanly possible, and soon after, received my certification as BCBA. I absolutely love partnering with families to help their children make great gains. My favorite part though is seeing the kids meet small goals day to day and watching our staff and family members come together to create support networks like no other! When I am not at work, I love to read, spend time in downtown Indy, and play with my basset hound. I also enjoy playing DND and hiking with my fiancé when we’re not busy planning our spring wedding. |

Hi! My name is Lizzy and I have proudly been a member of the CBS team since 2015. I completed my undergraduate degree in Recreation Sport Management with the focus of Recreational Therapy at Indiana State University. It had always been my goal to help make a positive difference in people’s lives, I just was not sure the best way to apply my passion. After graduation, I spent the summer interning at a residential facility for adolescents with behavioral and developmental challenges. This is where my drive for supporting others in making tremendous individualized progress flourished.
Shortly after, I found ABA and (what would become) my home at CBS! I began as a Technician and dipped my toes in several other positions: Social Group Leader, Trainer, Floater, and Program Manager Assistant – each position confirming my love of Behavior Analysis. I truly wouldn’t be where I am without being a part of such a supportive culture at CBS! After the first year with CBS, I could not ignore my desire to put down roots, began working toward my master’s degree in ABA with a focus on Autism from Ball State University, and became a BCBA in 2018. I have had the privilege of playing an active role in the growth of several kids and family’s lives throughout this time. Seeing a child develop new skills, calling a parent by name for the first time, and working through challenges sparks a fire like no other! Aside from all the love I have for what I do and the field of ABA, I also enjoy spending time with my husband, being outside, competing, spending time with family and friends, loving on my two fur babies, and my current favorite getting to enjoy and watch my baby girl learn and grow every day. |

My name is Katelyn Corya. I was born in Indianapolis and grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana. After graduating high school, I attended Taylor University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Studies with a certification in Special Education. From the start, I knew working with children with special needs was my path.
In 2015, searching for an organization that shared my passions, I volunteered at a homeschool co-op summer camp where I met the founder of CBS who introduced me to ABA. It wasn’t long before I began working as a behavior tech and was further convinced each day this was going to be my match. I was so grateful to find a place where we could collectively make an impact on our community, collaborate closely with families, emphasize the importance of play, and create opportunities for kids to find their social stride. Since the start of my career with CBS, I’ve had the opportunity to lead social groups, train our teams, and introduce ABA to families and staff. Most recently, I have been able to shift my focus to shaping each program directly and sharing in celebrations with the kids as they build upon their successes and gain new confidence through the program management role. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to continue my journey as a BCBA working each day to make a difference in the lives of these incredible clients and families! When I am not working, I enjoy hiking, reading, and exploring Indy. I also love playing with my Great Dane Jett, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and enjoying the great outdoors. |

Hello! My name is Breanne and I hold a bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Indianapolis and my master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Ball State University.
I have always been interested in applying the principles of psychology to help others. My career with CBS started in 2015 and led to a more focused passion of helping children on the spectrum with evidence-based care. Holding the valued roles of Registered Behavior Technician, assisting with social groups, training new technicians, and floating both at the tech and BCBA levels have bolstered my experience. Everything I’ve loved about our model and learned during my time here, led to earning my BCBA in early 2020. My work with learners ages 2 to 12 continues to be the biggest source of joy, allowing for ample opportunities to find new ways to motivate and teach based on individual learning styles. I live in Indianapolis with my cat Milo, enjoy kayaking, and being outdoors as much as possible. |

Hi! I’m Shelby and am one of the Clinical Supervisors here at CBS! I’m originally from Northern Indiana, earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work at Indiana University, South Bend, and moved to Indianapolis in 2019. After college, I moved to Prague, Czech Republic, and worked as an Au Pair for a few years. As my time there was coming to an end, I decided a move to Indianapolis would be close enough to see my family up north and enjoy a bigger city.
CBS was my landing place in Indy. I knew working with the disability community was where I wanted to be after a few short weeks as a behavior technician. Within my first year I applied to the Applied Behavior Analysis graduate program at Ball State University. Since my start at CBS, I have had the opportunity to work as a Behavior Technician, Social Group Leader, Clinical Supervisor Assistant, Floater, and even managed our social media for a while. I love working in a place where I can support and advocate for the neurodiverse community every day while fulfilling one of my greatest passions of working with children and families to meet meaningful goals in their lives. Outside of work I spend my time running, catching up with friends and family, playing video games, and gardening. By my side always are my three wonderful pets, my two rescue dogs and my chonky cat. |

Hi! My name is Mallory and I hold a bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies from IUPUI. I have been working for CBS since 2014 when I immediately developed a passion for this field. Over the last several years I have been fortunate to hold several roles such as Technician, Floater, Social Group Leader and Program Manager Assistant. These experiences have come together beautifully to inform my current role of Executive Assistant.
My favorite thing about working for CBS is our collaborative-based approach. This allows for all individuals within a child’s life to be involved with their ABA programming, generalizing and developing their skills. Providing in-home services really allows for this collaborative based approach to happen and makes for so many wonderful opportunities to engage in family collaboration, which is my favorite part about our company’s model! Outside of doing what I love every day in my career, I am a wife and soon to be mother of two. I absolutely love to spend time with my family and friends, being outside, or getting the chance to sit down and relax with a good book! |
